The
Cause.

If you were anything like me when I was young, I’d look at Victoria’s Secret catalogues, Sports Illustrated Magazines (I grew up before the internet was in our pockets) and not look like anyone in that book. I imagine my peers would look at these images and also assume this is what they expected of future loves/partners. As we all know, this is not realistic at all. I’d like to change that!

Our bodies come in different shapes and sizes - with nipples that are inverted, asymmetrical breasts and unique skin textures. I want to create a book that shows the beauty of them all and normalizes breasts for the next generation. Come be a part of the revolution!

The Process.

Traditionally, you will arrive at my studio (but in special cases, I can come to you, too) and we will talk through specifics of what will happen in the next 45 minutes - one hour. Happy to answer any questions, hear about your body/experience as much as you’d like to share and get acclimatized to the space.

Certainly, I hope you feel at home and safe, but remember (just like ANYTHING in your life) you have the ability to stop and change your mind during the process. YOU are always in the drivers’ seat of your own body and consent is paramount for my process and for this experience to be an empowering one for you!

The Casting.

Once we discuss any concerns you have, I’ll ask you to take the position (which is around 30 minutes standing to get best results with hands above your head). I’ll ask you to apply a skin release cream before I apply the blue goo (silicone) to from below your collarbone to just above your belly button.

Once set, I’ll apply an exoskeleton of plaster bandages so that the mold has some stability when I move to the artistic process (which happens days later).

At this point, I’ll remove the plaster and silicone, and we will get you all cleaned up and on your way!
