A collaboration with beading artist Jennifer Plourde, Contour & Core has been rejected from a few shows. Though we’ve been quite disappointed about this, we now have a space in which our beautiful creation will be exhibited!
Inspired by the 1863 exhibition of the same name, this exhibition highlights the important role rejection plays in finding audience, building resilience, and growing as an artist; and recognizes that rejection can feel exclusionary, disheartening, and disappointing. While sometimes challenging to face, rejection is an inherent and important part of the artistic process and an artist's career. At the suggestion of London artist Catherine Morrisey, TAP is hosting a Salon des Refusés to provide the opportunity for artists from London and the surround area to exhibit artwork that has been rejected elsewhere.
This show runs from July 22 to August 15, 2026. Admission is free. -
The National Menopause Show will be taking place in Toronto on October 17 and 18. I will be exhibiting an evolving art piece about menopause. Would love to see you there - so you can be a part of the process!
